The Meteorites are a three-piece indie-rock band from Houston made up of drummer Noah Rodriguez, singer-bassist Sara Rodriguez, and guitarist Harrison Mikeska. They’ve been playing together since 2023, when they released their debut EP Suburban Artist.

Sara writes the band’s songs and handles management. She switched to bass after the original bassist left in 2023 and never looked back. She’s working on a Bachelors in Music Business at Berklee.

Noah started on the Rock Band drum kit at age 9 and never put the sticks down. He also drums for fellow Houston band Buff Speedy and is finishing a degree in Cyber Security.

Harrison picked up guitar during Covid lockdown and taught himself well enough to get into Berklee’s guitar performance program. He’s graduating this year and has started writing songs for the band too.

The trio spent 2025 writing six original blues songs in two weeks for the Houston Blues Challenge. In 2026 they’ve been recording new singles and playing venues across Texas, with four new tracks on the way, including “Be Right (Let Go)” and “Bittersweet.”
