Aaron Lacombe is a consummate singer/songwriter and storyteller. Listening to Aaron’s songs you might detect a few dashes of heroes like Lyle Lovett or Guy Clark, but you’ll mostly hear stories being told from the perspective of a man who has been there and wants to share what he learned from them. Aaron can be found driving across the US and beyond with his rescue pals Oscar and Zeke. He loves to play the kind of places where the seats face the stage and folks are there to hear the songs and the stories behind them.
“Lyrically, (Aaron LaCombe is) straightforward and earnest, with an ear for exceptional melodies. The Detroit native’s work ranks among the best of Red Dirt balladeers, with touches of Jason Boland and Randy Rogers, but also a keen sense of the new Nashville sound behind superstars like Chris Stapleton.” – Doug Freeman – The Austin Chronicle
