About the event

New England-based singer-songwriter Sam Robbins is a modern troubadour whose introspective folk sound evokes classics like James Taylor, Jackson Browne, and Jim Croce. Known as an “old soul,” the Berklee College of Music graduate has built a national following through relentless touring (over 200 shows annually), sharing stages with artists like Jason Mraz and winning honors at prestigious events like the Kerrville and Falcon Ridge Folk Festivals.

His third album, So Much I Still Don’t See, was named one of Atwood Magazine’s 2025 “Artists to Watch.” Produced by Seth Glier and tracked live in an old Springfield, MA church, the record captures the humility and growth of a life on the road.

Centered around Robbins’ worn Martin guitar and refined fingerstyle playing, the album balances soft, observational storytelling with rich influences—ranging from Marcus Aurelius’s Stoic philosophy in tracks like “All So Important” to his transformative work writing songs with military veterans. Featuring touches of organ, upright bass, an original fingerstyle instrumental (“Rosie”), and a tender closing duet on The Beatles’ “I Will” with his wife, Halley Neal, the album cements Robbins as one of the brightest rising stars in the national folk scene.
