We are pleased to welcome Mitch Jacobs, a Houston-born singer-songwriter working in Gulf Coast honky-tonk and Americana, drawing on Texas swing, country, and the roots music of the upper Gulf.

His original material has been praised by Houston music writers for its honesty and craft, and he delivers it in a deep baritone that’s earned him Johnny Cash comparisons.

He came up fronting the local band Romeo Dogs before stepping out under his own name, and has recorded at Houston’s storied Sugarhill Studios.
