Christine Albert has released six independent albums including “TEXAFRANCE”, “TexaFrance-Encore!”, and “Paris, Texafrance”, bilingual tributes to her European heritage and love of the French chanson. She has appeared on Austin City Limits, written and performed her own “Don’t Mess With Texas” ad and was featured in the popular Bluebell Ice Cream television commercial.

Christine also enjoyed a long and prolific career with her late husband and renowned Texas musician and producer, Chris Gage. Together they released six albums as Albert and Gage, established MoonHouse Records and MoonHouse Studio, and frequently toured in Europe.

Her community service work has gradually become a primary focus of Christine’s life. She is founder and CEO of Swan Songs, an organization that fulfills musical last wishes, which recently welcomed Swan Songs Portland in Oregon. She also rose to the position of Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Recording Academy (GRAMMYs) and served for close to two decades in multiple positions, bringing the voice of the independent artist to important conversations on a national platform.

As Christine grieves Chris’s loss, she is finding comfort in the music that has been her steady companion throughout her life.
