St Patrick’s Day tickets for reserved seating are now on sale.
Here at The Duck, we consider every day one worth celebrating – but as an Irish-inspired pub that’s called Houston home for decades, St. Patrick’s Day holds an extra-special spot in our Irish-loving hearts.
We are hosting our 33nd annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Sunday, March 17, 2024, complete with live Irish music, our signature menu of traditional Irish foods, and traditional pints of Guinness Stout, Harp Lager, and Smithwick’s Irish ale.
You can join us in person or you will be able to enjoy our virtual Irish experience via our Livestream video feed. Wherever you are, please join us to raise a glass and celebrate the Feast of St. Patrick.
If you’ve ever been to our Houston venue and restaurant, then you know that music is a part of our heart and soul. The Duck is famous for being a favorite performance destination for a fabulous variety of talented artists. There are generations of Houstonians that have made it a tradition to come here for a show, a good meal, and a pint or two.
There will be no green beer because as most of you already know, Irish beer is black not green.
So of course, our upcoming St. Patrick’s Day celebrations will feature a lineup of live music performances that you won’t want to miss. Here are the folks that will be putting on a stellar show for you:
Martin Burniston’s Irish Singalong
Ed Miller and Rich Brotherton
We will have two stages. One inside. One outside. All performers will perform on both stages.
Tickets for the inside shows will be sold as tables of four or six.
Tickets for the outside will be general admission. Tables and chairs outside are first come, first served. All tickets are non-refundable. Rain or Shine.
We will not be able to have a tent this year…and that’s pretty scary for us. We cannot promise refunds if it rains. These are strange and difficult times and we have no way to make this work if we have to worry about rain. We are praying for good weather and ask that you please do the same. To make this work, we need to be in this together, so if it rains, well, we all get soaked.
With live music, comfort food classics, and plenty of authentic Irish beer, our upcoming St. Patrick’s Day festivities are bound to make this a year to remember.
Whether you’re a longtime local and patron of The Duck or an out-of-town visitor passing through Houston, we invite you to join us for St. Patrick’s Day this March 17th, 2024.
And if you’re wondering if we’ll be serving green beer… the answer is a definite no – true Irish beer is as black as night, not green! We’ll make sure you get a generously-poured pint of the good stuff.
May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light – and may you find yourself at McGonigel’s Mucky Duck
