About the event

Jordi Baizan is a first generation American and native Texan songwriter.  He has played hundreds of shows in the US, Canada, and Europe and released his sixth record in February of 2022.  His songwriting, which American Songwriter (USA) has called “exquisite”,  has garnered him recognition from several prestigious songwriting competitions including the Grassy Hill Kerrville New Folk Songwriting Competition, the Songwriter Serenade Competition, and the South Florida Folk Festival’s Singer/Songwriter Competition. Signed in 2019 by Berkalin Records, label owner Brian J. Kalinec says  “Jordi’s songs convey authenticity perfectly intertwined with memorable melodies.   His unique voice and his stories draw you in from the beginning, and you can’t wait to hear the next page.”  Jordi’s 2019 album, Free and Fine, inspired Lonestar Time (Italy) to welcome Jordi “into the great family of true troubadours”.  His latest album, The Love in You (2022), has been described as “healing music reminiscent of the 1970s and fantastic storytellers like Jackson Browne and JD Souther” (Baretta, Sweden).

Terry Klein is a performing songwriter whose growing catalog of finely wrought, captivating songs has made him a respected member of the Folk and Americana music communities. His work has garnered praise from Mary Gauthier and Rodney Crowell and press and radio outlets across the United States and Europe. Terry has played in some of the most hallowed rooms in the singer-songwriter business and won over crowds at festivals across the United States. The Austin American-Statesman calls Terry “one of Austin’s top singer-songwriters in recent years.” No Depression said Terry’s third album, Good Luck, Take Care “has a knack for telling poetic stories in songs about the sad, funny, ironic, and devastating ups and downs of our lives” and American Songwriter said the album “conveys honesty and emotion that gives the listener a clear connection.” Terry’s fourth album, Leave the Light On, was produced by Thomm Jutz in Nashville and releases in November 2023.
