About the event

with special guests Colin Gilmore and Rory Hancock

Longtime friends, collaborators, and singer/songwriters Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Butch Hancock joined forces in The Flatlanders (along with Joe Ely) in 1972.

Founding fathers of the alt-country movement, they’ve been collaborating on projects ever since, in addition to their wide-ranging solo work.

Gilmore’s high, lonesome vocal style and mystical lyrics, along with Hancock’s windswept landscapes and insightful looks at the ordinary, have transported audiences at their live shows for decades.
