"[I'll Sing The Blues For You] is blues, drenched with soul, and delivered with passion and power.  This is worthy of a Blues Music Award...without question.  Don't pass this one by." - Bill Wilson, Reflections in Blue

"A singer gifted with a great expressivity, Trudy always gives the best of herself and, in [I'll Sing The Blues For You], she again shows how to sing the blues and give it from the deepest part of her heart and soul." - La Hora Del Blues,  Barcelona, Spain

"As the title asserts, Trudy Lynn is committed to singing the blues. With its smart set list, sterling musical support and her own well-honed interpretive skills, she once again convincingly makes her case."  - Roger Wood, Living Blues Magazine

"This is a super soulful blues album with a fantastic singer and great band. If you like sassy and soulful blues, then go no further- this album has some great interpretive stuff that Lynn and company deliver in their own way." - Blues Blast Magazine

"Lynn purrs, croons, snarls and howls—whatever it takes to put a song across. It all works!" - Chico News & Review

"Ms Trudy could sing the “S” section of the Houston phone book and I’d listen. A great singer backed by a fantastic band. - Graham Clark, Blues Bytes

"The best blues evokes the way we make it through the world and the way we make sense of what happens to us. Which is to say that there is a hugely charming conversational quality to Lynn's delivery of a song, in the fashion of a friend who's confiding lust and loss, pain and resignation." -, review of I'll Sing The Blues For You

"If you want spit and polish, look somewhere else; if you want spit in the palm of your hands to help you hold on tight, this is the lady!” - Jazz Weekly

"Already at the top of her game, with the freedom to do it her own way, this might be a smoking set of traditional urban blues but it's smokingly in the moment as well because her vibe is timeless. Killer stuff." - Midwest Record, review of I'll Sing The Blues For You
