Music begins at 6pm Featuring performances by:

Emceed by Jeff Joe

Port Arthur's Jeff Joe is one of Houston's hardest working comedians. In addition to hosting a multitude of shows around the city of Houston, Jeff has opened for many nationally known comics such as Pauly Shore, Tony Roberts and Shane Mauss just to name a few.

Kimberly M'Carver 6pm - 6:20

Kimberly M'Carver's seemingly Guy Clark-influenced Country-Folk songs radiate romantic Southern nighttime air that's good for breathing in with each chord change. Her songs transcend pure prairie soul, with the warmest tones to comfort your ears since your first experience with a Phil Spector-produced hit. M'Carver's ethereal coos and pastoral croons are so hypnotizing that you'll fantasize about her singing with other people. One listen to a love song by M'Carver and you'll find yourself thinking things like, "What would it sound like if she sang close harmony with Emmylou Harris?" or, "Damn, I'd love to hear her sing one with Dolly and Dwight."  - Rhapsody

Abstract Truth Jazz 6:25 - 6:45pm

Abstract Truth is a hip and up-and-coming Jazz Combo. The group met in middle school over their mutual love for Jazz. They have been performing and touring for over two years, and there is no end in sight. They have been fortunate to receive master classes given by the Preservation Hall All-Star band and Ronnie Kole in New Orleans. They received instruction from Jazz artists Bubba Thomas, Craig Green, Kyle Turner, Kelly Dean, Al Campbell, Nicholas Allen, and Kirk Whalum at the Jazz Summer Workshop in Houston. Members of the band have been recipients of the Waltrip Jazz Festival All-Star So loist Award, the Conrad Johnson music award, and The Duke Ellington award.

Market Junction  6:50 - 7:15

Market Junction is a raw and earthy Texas based Folk/Country band. With a sound that is a bit off the beaten path, they look to bring a fresh feel to the red dirt scene. Soaring harmonies, a multi-instrumentalist and well crafted tunes brand this group's style.

Lights On Main Street 7:15 - 7:35pm

The next generation of musicians, Lights on Main Street is a saxophone quartet and drum set jazz ensemble made up of band students from Magnolia West High School. Expect jazz versions of Christmas favorites.

Amanda Pascali  7:40 - 8:00pm

"Renaissance woman and singer/songwriter, Amanda Pascali was born in Queens, New York and is based in Houston, Texas. Amanda's Immigrant American Folk Music showcases her traditional influences, but she is no copy of anyone.  As the daughter of an Eastern European refugee with Sicilian heritage, Amanda writes with a sincerity which shows us that home is truly where the heart is.  Accompanied by "Uncle" Felix Lyons on accordion and Addison Freeman on the violin, her music has been performed for packed houses in Italy, Romania, and the United States.”

Carson Mchone 8:05 -8:25pm

In a city full of transplants, McHone is a rare Austin native, having first hit the barroom stages of her hometown at 16 years old. “People call us unicorns,” she says of her local roots. On her still-untitled follow-up to 2015’s Goodluck Man, though, McHone looks beyond the Lone Star State, taking inspiration from the road – where she plays more than 150 shows a year – as well as the Tennessee capital.

Nick (Buenos) Diaz with Christy Hays 8:30 - 8:50

”Guitarist Nick Diaz is a musical chameleon who negotiates his cinematic shifts and twists with passion and purpose…" -Michael Molenda, Guitar Player Magazine

"It's rare to find young blues guitar demigods who are embodying the spirit of the music…" -Robert Fontenot, Offbeat Magazine

Ken Gaines & Wayne Wilkerson. 8:55 - 9:15pm

Houston area singer/songwriter, guitarist, producer, and teacher Ken Gaines has the goal of writing great songs in just about every genre and style you can come up with. "For all the great songs that have been written I belong to a wonderful tribe who believe there are a least as many great ones still to be written." His voice has the range to cover all styles and his supple guitar work lays down arrangements instead of just chords.  His lyrics are both powerful and poetic and highlight the skills of a story teller and observer of life.

Dan Crump 9:20 - 9:45

He's modern, real country with a solid, powerful approach that everyone will find something to like about, from the traditionalists (who will approve of the amazing players backing Dan) to the modern country fans.

Staehely Brothers

Seamlessly blending classic rock, soulful blues with a commanding stage presence, Al is just at home playing intimate solo shows with an acoustic guitar on his knee as he is taking center stage at a rock show. Al's engaging lyrics and creative melodies have peaked the interest of other artists who have recorded his songs- Keith Moon (The Who), Marty Balin (Jefferson Airplane), Peter Cox (Go West), The Nick Gravenites/John Cipollina Band, as well as performers from his own back yard, most recently Houston R&B vocalist Annika Chambers.
