JOHNNY BOY

An eclectic bluesician following the tradition of the bluesmen that carved the book and the foundation of American Blues Music.

Playing diatonic and chromatic harmonica, flute, alto and tenor saxophone, he still considers himself primarlily a vocalist, covering a variety of Texas, Chicago, New Orleans and Delta Blues.

You will be taken with him as he puts his stamp on a Howlin' Wolf or a Sonny Boy Williamson tune using the flute instead of the traditional use of the harmonica.

MILTON HOPKINS

Hopkin’s amazingly full orchestral-like chording and sparse, soulful leadwork and sharp ear that landed him the number one spot in B.B.King’s show. But these days it’s the vitality of his performance and the warm smile that brings in the crowd.

Like many of our best loved blues heroes, Hopkins found that a constant touring schedule wears thin and decided to settle down in Houston to be with his lovely wife and family. And, as is the case for the vast majority of entertainers who remain within the confines of the “Big H”, fame has eluded him. Come see Milton tonight - you won’t be sorry you did.
